Sentinel for AMMO NYC
Shipping begins August 8th.
The Sentinel is limited to 100 pieces worldwide.
See the Sentinel on Larry’s wrist in his upcoming national television debut Extreme Detailing, premiering Tuesday, August 5th at 9PM EST, on Discovery.
Larry Kosilla doesn’t just talk about clean cars - he lives in the details. As the founder of AMMO NYC, his hands have restored, protected, and preserved some of the rarest vehicles in the world. From YouTube tutorials to concours-level work, Larry built his reputation on an uncompromising standard of excellence. But one thing always bugged him: wearing a watch while detailing. The sharp edges, hard surfaces, and exposed metal of traditional tool watches posed too much risk. That’s where Nodus comes in.
A crown on the left-side keeps it out of harm’s way when the wrist brushes against fenders or glass. A custom-molded TPU (thermoplastic) bezel is soft to the touch, impact-resistant, and won’t mar a surface if contact is made. An acrylic crystal is used for its lightweight and shatter-resistant properties, ensuring high performance with low risk. Much like Larry’s renowned ability to restore finishes on countless supercars, any scratches on the acrylic crystal can easily be polished out, allowing the watch to maintain its pristine appearance even after rigorous use.
The Sentinel is not just a new take on an enthusiast favorite - it’s a tool designed to meet the realities of serious automotive detailing.
The Sentinel is designed and assembled in Los Angeles.

Larry Kosilla doesn’t just talk about clean cars—he lives in the details. That’s where Nodus came in.
When discussing the idea of a collaboration, it was clear for all parties that this wasn’t a new colorway or logo drop. This was a chance to rethink what a modern tool watch could be, built for people who use their hands with precision and care where a watch has the potential to be more liability than asset. Enter: The Sentinel.
The Sentinel is rooted in a simple premise: create a professional-grade watch that won’t scratch the very thing you’re protecting. More than just an innovative timepiece, the Sentinel is a testament to a lifelong friendship and entrepreneurial spirit, shared by Larry and his childhood best friend, Matt Farah.
The young duo began their business ventures with a car wash, which quickly evolved into a YouTube channel where they honed their video creation skills long before their current, widely recognized individual channels.
Using the same watch case originally designed by Matt Farah for his Nodus Canyon, the Sentinel gets reengineered with a suite of thoughtful changes driven by real-world function, with the following goals.
A New Take On Automotive-Inspired Design
Mitigate Damage Risk
Maintain Tool Watch Capabilities
